I do principally metal work however have an excellent amount of wooden tasks too, so this unit was once ideal. The digital readout on the velocity control permits me to return back to an exact pace environment for any subject material. The unit is made very sturdily and blade modifications are fast and simple. Adjusting the lower blade information is somewhat cumbersome and I'd have most smartly-liked a unit with ball bearings within the side places of the informations which is how most metal best gadgets are made, but I just could not come up with the money for the worth of a devoted metallic cutting handiest computing device. I've used both the fence and the miter gauge with just right consequences.

It runs clean and has plenty of torque. I would recommend this over a JET particularly when evaluating worth to edition. I would purchase every other Shop Fox product. Amazon had the perfect worth too.
