I firstly sold the noticed for resawing maple slabs from bushes I had reduce down but have used it to chop with reference to everything else as neatly seeing that then.
When assembling the saw make the effort (2-4 hours) to get the entire lot adjusted correctly and square. The saw will operate better and you will be much less annoyed in a while. I really have not had to make any changes on the grounds that I originally put the saw together and I consider this is on account of the amount of time I took to do it right from the start. It is still sq. and working as good because the day I sold it. The simplest issue I had with the saw used to be about 2 weeks after I acquired it the decrease viast bearing locking assembly failed. Two speeds w/o the usage of a wrench .. is Jet even paying attention? Fit and finish is a 10, and can pull an 1 1/4" 2-3 resaw blade. Should get an academy award, for the Least # of meeting sections.
Caveats .. she comes packed extremely smartly, however, not strapped to a normal sized pallet, so present strap or rope to stable to forklift .. just for safety and peace of thoughts. The table is an assembly item, and that is dang heavy and a bit of awkward to get the four bolts going .. an additional set of palms is extraordinarily really helpful. Fence rails and a few handwheels .. done!
Shipper rounded up to 500# gross .. specs say three89# .. this laptop is heavy. Unless you are planning on mounting stationery, I extremely suggest the Vega machinery mover, and value each penny .. easy meeting, and desktop take a seats on the ground, not on casters 24/7 .. kinda essential for a machine that's 6'4" tall.

The niceer re-saw capacity and the general perfomance is like night time and day. Thank you Rikon. It's a great product. I've by no implys used a bandsaw that ran so clean and vibration free. The fence can be top notch high quality.
